ENG. So just a few weeks I was in a dilemma, an existential one... Should I wear a Roberto Cavalli dress that makes me look cute and in which I feel comfortable, or should I wear a Just Cavalli dress that makes me look hot as hell? Since I was not sure how I wanted to feel for my friend's wedding I asked different friends to help me out, men and women... The result was always the same, most of the girls like the Roberto Cavalli dress and most of the guys like the Just Cavalli one... Even my friend Jim told me "Martha, you're going to a wedding where there are tons of bachelor guys, wear the Just Cavalli dress that makes you look hot. " And in some ways he was right cause the first dress was a man repeller and the second one wasn't. I decided to extend my debate and posted online at Juana's blog the two dresses, the results were the same girls like the Roberto Cavalli and guys like the Just Cavalli dress. I made this comment to my really good friend Hugo who made me discover this wonderful blog: menrepeller. There, the author addresses these exact issues: there are some outfits that women like that men totally hate, and she calls it menrepellers! So I wanted to share her blog and book today cause I found it quite interesting. I am definitely not a 100 % men repeller let's face it I ended up wearing the Just Cavalli one cause I love to show of my figure (I am a good Latin girl) and I love to feel sexy! But sometimes I do love wearing my jumpsuits, the men suits over jackets and those dresses without form that in a guys eye just don't do me any justice. So I am a semi man repeller and I am pretty sure some of my readers are too! So how about checking her blog and book?
ESP. Hace solo unas semanas estaba en un penoso dilema, uno de esos existenciales...tenía que decidir entre ponerme un vestido de Roberto Cavalli que me hacía ver linda, elegante y cómoda, o un vestido de Just Cavalli que me hacía ver y sentir súper sexy. Como no estaba muy segura de como me quería sentir para la boda que tenía ese día le pregunté a varios de mis amigos (hombres, mujeres) que me ayudaran a decidir. El resultado casi siempre fue el mismo, la mayoría de las mujeres preferían el de Roberto Cavalli y la mayoría de los hombres por no decir todos el Just Cavalli... Inclusive mi amigo Jim me dijo "Martha, vas para una boda hay muchos potenciales candidatos solteros ponte el vestido de Just Cavalli que te hace ver súper sexy." Y en cierto sentidos él tenía razón porque el vestido de la derecha de Roberto Cavalli es lo que llaman un repelente de hombres y el de Just Cavalli no lo era. De todas maneras decidí extender mi debate y dejé que ustedes mis lectores participaran en la decisión. El resultado fue el mismo, a las mujeres les gustaba más el de Roberto Cavalli y a los hombres el de Just Cavalli. Le comenté estos resultados a mi amigo Hugo quien me hizo descubrir este fantástico blog: menrepeller donde la autora habla sobre este tema: hay algunos atuendos que sólo nos gustan a nosotras las mujeres y que los hombres odian totalmente en nosotras y ella los llama los atuendos repelentes de hombres! Entonces quería compartirles su blog y su libro porque lo encontré realmente interesante. Yo definitivamente no soy una repelente de hombres en mi modo de vestir al 100%, es decir, me terminé poniendo el vestido de Just Cavalli porque me gusta mostrar mi figura y sentirme sexy (mi sangre latina que sale a la flote). Pero muchas veces me gusta ponerme mis overoles, la chaqueta grande de hombre y esos vestidos que no tienen forma que ante los ojos de un hombre me dicen que no me hacen justicia. Entonces yo soy una semi men repeller y estoy segura que algunas de mis lectoras también lo son. Entonces qué tal si miran su blog y su libro?
