Paraty: A magical place- Un lugar mágico

I firmly believe in this quote, that is why I was not surprised that after watching the movie The twilight saga: Breaking down part 1 I said to myself: "I wish someday I could go there" and then a year later I end up in Paraty without even planning it.

For me Paraty is a paradise on Earth. It is not a commercial place so don't expect going there wearing your high heels or your most spectacular dress. Here is a place to be easy going wearing your most natural clothing because the beauty of the place comes from its simplicity.

During the days we were in Paraty we stayed in La Posada Imperial, a comfortable place with a pool and social areas. Very nice to rest at night and to socialize before dinners. Each night we got to go to a different restaurant: two of my favorite were: Il refugio and Banana Terra. In Banana Terra almost all of the food is made out of banana, I was in ecstasy since it is my favorite fruit!

In Paraty we had the opportunity to go out boating around the islands, because Paraty is made up from many different amazing islands, as it is located in the bay of Ilha Grande.  Each time we went in the boat we had the opportunity to drink different flavors of caipirinhas, to relax, to enjoy the amazing view as well as to stop in different islands to swim or to simply have lunch.

To walk around town is a must, the place is super cute, colorful and full of small artisan boutiques worth taking pictures of, and getting something to take back home.

So I recommend to everyone to visit this magical place Paraty! I am pretty sure you will love it as much as me.

Yo creo firmemente en esta frase, por eso no me sorprendió que después de ver la pelicula de la saga Crepúsculo: Amanecer parte 1 yo haya dicho “ ojalá algún día pudiera ir a allí” y un año después terminara en Paraty sin planearlo.

Para mi Paraty es un paraíso terrenal, no es un lugar comercial entonces no esperes ir con tus tacones altos y tu vestido más espectacular. Este es un lugar para estar lo más natural y fresco posible con tu ropa más sencilla porque la hermosura de este lugar está en su simplicidad.

Durante los días que estuvimos en Paraty nos quedamos en la Posada imperial un lugar coqueto y cómodo con piscina y hermosas áreas sociales para estar con tus amigos. Todas las noches probamos restaurantes diferentes, y mis dos preferidos fueron El Refugio y Banana Terra. En Banana Terra casi toda la comida era a base de bananos: yo estaba en éxtasis ya que es mi fruta favorita.

En Paraty también tuvimos la oportunidad de montar en bote y recorrer las diferentes islas, ya que Paraty está conformada de varias hermosas islas por su ubicación en la bahía de Ilha Grande. Cada vez que tomamos el bote tuvimos la oportunidad de beber diferentes tipo de caipirinhas, de relajarnos y de disfrutar de la hermosa vista. También paramos en varias islas para tomar un baño y para comer.

Caminar alrededor del pueblo es algo fantástico, ya que es bien pintoresco, colorido y lleno de tiendas artesanales. Vale la pena tomar muchas fotos y comprar algo para llevarse a casa.Entonces les recomiendo a todos de visitar el mágico lugar de Paraty, estoy segura que les gustara tanto como a mi!
