ENG. I've been waiting to talk about this brand for a long time but I usually only like to talk about brands that I had an opportunity to have a close contact with. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when randomly walking around Milan after work I bumped into & Other Stories right in the heart of Milan near the most important monument of the city: The Duomo. Immediately I went in, and I spent more than I should have, but it was totally worth it. Juana knows she won’t regret to over spend in a place that has a sign that says: “Personal style tells a story” because that is truly her philosophy. So let me tell you a bit about the brand & Other Stories. It's a brand created by the H&M group. It has only a few stores around Europe located in Copenhagen, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, London and now Milan, but the good news is that they also have an e-commerce platform! The idea, as they say, is to create “diversified fashion collections with great attention to detail and quality at an affordable price.” They offer prêt a porter collections with very clean and chic lines, very cool and trendy accessories with a great focus on detail and pop colors, and they also offer cosmetic products!
Throughout the year they will be creating 6 collections with 4 moods that will target 4 different types of women, which I believe is absolutely an amazing concept. The moods are: Contradiction and Minimalism, Industrial and Effortless, Sophisticated and Architectural and Poetic and Dandy. So basically there is something for each woman out there! I absolutely encourage you to go to one of these stores or to check the online store, it is definitely a fast fashion chain that is going to become one of my favorites!
ESP. Desde hace rato quería hablar de esta marca pero usualmente prefiero hablar de una marca con la que he tenido un contacto directo o al menos cercano. Entonces ya se pueden imaginar mi alegría cuando caminando distraída por Milán después del trabajo me encontré una boutique nueva y era esta & Other Stories en pleno centro de Milan, super cerca al monumento más importante de la ciudad, el Duomo. Obviamente entré inmediatamente, y compré más de lo que debería como cosa rara, pero valió la pena. Osea Juana sabe que no se arrepentirá de gastar de más en un lugar que tiene un letrero que dice: “tu estilo personal cuenta una historia” porque eso hace parte de su filosofia de vida. Entonces déjenme contarles un poco de esta nueva marca, & Other Stories, es una marca creada por el grupo de H&M. Esta marca solo tiene unas pocas boutiques en Europa en lugares como Copenhagen, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, Londres y ahora Milan, pero lo mejor de todo es que también tienen una boutique en línea. La idea como ellos mismos dicen es “crear diferentes colecciones de moda con gran atención al detalle y a la calidad y ofrecerlas a un precio accesible.” La marca ofrece colecciones de moda con líneas modernas y chic, accesorios de moda con colores interesantes y tambien tienen una línea de cosméticos!
Serán creadas 6 colecciones al año con 4 inspiraciones que tendrán en mente 4 tipos de mujeres diferentes, lo cual me parece sensacional. Las inspiraciones son: Contradicción y Minimalista, Industrial y sin Esfuerzo, Sofisticado y Arquitectura, Poético y Dandy. Entonces básicamente va a haber algo para cada mujer que está allí afuera. Definitivamente les recomiendo que se den una pasadita por esta nueva boutique, así sea solo en la que está en línea, tengan por seguro que se va volver uno de mis sitios preferidos de moda rápida y accesible.
