ENG. Two weeks ago I had the wonderful opportunity to participate of the Mercedes Benz fashion days in Zurich! I was invited to participate as a blogger by one of my dearest friends from university. Everything was very last minute, I saw my friend in NYC just the week before the event and she offered me this great chance, so with closed eyes I took it and went for the adventure! As I always say, having friends in the fashion industry always rocks because it ends up being a totally great experience. Ok let me tell you about the event so you can get a bit familiar because it definitely works differently from fashion week but surely it is as exciting! The fashion days in Zurich function as a consumer event. So they sell tickets to the public to watch the shows of top Swiss designers to go and see their collections on the runway or at a showroom. When the final consumer gets a ticket, they may not only have a chance to see a show but it could also include (depending on the price) a dinner, a cocktail or the opportunity to enter some of the most exclusive clubs in the city. So the excitement of the event goes definitely beyond the runway!
I totally loved the event because there is a great mix in the crowd, not only people are there people from the fashion industry but also regular consumers who live in Zurich. The beauty of this is that I discovered that the people who live in Zurich have a great sense of style and a high level appreciation for fashion.
I went to the show of the last night which was international designers, and let’s say it was amazing. I totally loved and was impressed by Dimitri’s collection: the perfect mix of transparencies and fluidity, such an ethereal woman he has in mind.
So I invite you all to stay tuned for these fashion days In Zurich because a lot of great things are happening in this city in terms of style and fashion! Definitely the city is transforming into a fashion destination!

ESP. Hace dos semanas tuve la maravillosa oportunidad de participar en los días de Moda de Zúrich organizado por la Mercedes Benz. Fui invitada a participar como bloguera de moda por una de mis mejores amigas de la Universidad. Todo fue al último momento, yo me encontré con mi amiga en NYC una semana antes del evento y cuando me ofreció esta oportunidad decidí tomarla con los ojos cerrados y me fui a vivir esta aventura. Como yo siempre digo los amigos en la industria de la moda son un Tesoro ya que esta invitación terminó siendo una experiencia increíble. Bueno déjenme contarles un poco del evento porque funciona diferente a las típicas semanas de la moda del mundo pero les garantizo ¡igual de divertido! Los días de moda en Zúrich son eventos en los que también participa el consumidor final. Venden tiquetes al público para ver los desfiles de altamente reconocidos diseñadores de Suiza. Cuando el consumidor final compra su tiquete, dependiendo del precio, no solo tiene la oportunidad de asistir a un desfile sino que también tiene la oportunidad de ir a un cóctel, a una cena y hasta entrar a las discotecas más exclusivas de la ciudad. Entonces la emoción del evento va más allá de las pasarelas.
A mí me encantó el evento porque entre la gente encuentras un buena mezcla de personas de la industria y de los que viven en Zúrich. Lo más chévere de todo esto es que me di cuenta que la gente que vive en Zúrich tienen un gran sentido de estilo y de la moda.
Yo fui a los desfiles del último día que era la noche internacional y pues les digo que me fascinó la colección de Dimitri: la perfecta mezcla entre transparencias, elegancia y fluidez, él tiene en mente una mujer muy etérea, hermoso. Entonces los invito a participar o estar pendiente de este evento: los días de moda en Zúrich ¡porque muchas cosas buenas en términos de moda y estilo están emergiendo de esa ciudad!
