I want to share with you my latest geeky obssession; APPS! I discovered this amazing parallel universe full of cool apps to invest all my free time (and sometimes my not so free time...) they are thematical, fun, informative it's like the whole world... a finger touch away!
Don't you just hate it when you are in the middle of a discussion with friends and you just know you are sooo right but can't prove it? Well those days are O-V-E-R with the WIKIPANION (free), and for those of you (like me)who live in a country where your mother tongue is not spoken and are always wondering “mmm … how do you say.... in (english/french/italian/spanish)"? your solution is the TRADUCTOR (free). Always wanted a secretary but can't afford to pay a minimum wage? EVERNOTE (free) lets you create notes, snap photos, and record voice memos that you can then access any time from your iPhone, computer, or the web.
Do you have Annie Leibovitz syndrome but don't exactly share her talent??? there are plenty of cool photography apps like; DOODLE CAM (free), SHAKEITPHOTO (1.59€), HIPSTAMATIC (1.59€), POLAROID INSTANT CAM (1.59€), 88 MM VINTAGE CAMERA (1.59€) and my very own favorite RETROCAMERA (1.59€) there are many different filters and you can even frame them!

In the fashion addict corner we have; STYLE.COM (free) watch runways whenever you want, VOGUE STYLIST (free), STYLECASTER (free) weather/fashion app will give you the recommendations of styled “looks” based on your current location and weather conditions, CHICFEED (free) best style-hunter compilation, F NETWORK (free), and the family jewel STYLEBOOK (2.99€) to import your actual clothes, create magazine-style outfits, plan what to wear and track your style inspirations with this totally customizable app!
It's never early to start your Dear Santa letter, and if you have in mind lots of stuff, SHOPAHOLIC WISH (free) is the app you could use to quickly capture, prioritize and organize your shopping wishes! 1, 2, 3, Sold! To the lovely lady with the app! EBAY (free) Now you can follow your bets until the very last seconds!
Keep yourself well informed with TED (free) Ideas Worth Spreading, BBC NEWS (free) and GOSSIP JUNKIE (1.59€) after all, we all want to be the first to know when Rob Pattinson decides to leave the pale waif.
Planing a long weekend? COOL CITIES is a curated selection of the coolest hotels, dining spots, bars & clubs, shops, landmarks, and more... some are free and some are not. And last but not least, for mega geeky dudes & gals MONSTER BUILDER (free) just for fun ;)

Esto va por el loco, el inadaptado, el rebelde. El problemático. El que va contra la corriente. Aquel que veía las cosas de otra manera. El que no sigue las reglas, el que no respetó lo establecido. Puedes citarlo, estar en desacuerdo, glorificarlo o satanizarlo, pero lo único que no puedes hacer es ignorarlo porque él cambió las cosas. Porque él impulsó la humanidad hacia adelante y aunque algunos puedan tacharlo de loco – nosotros vemos a un genio, porque los que están tan locos como para creer que puede cambiar el mundo, son los que lo consiguen.

ESP.Debo confesar que me he vuelto una geek en los últimos años... estoy a esto de montar una fiesta trekie para halloween... afortunadamente los nerds, geeks & freaks están de moda!
Quiero compartir con el mundo mi última obsesión: las APPS! He descubierto ese universo paralelo lleno de aplicaciones cool en el que puedo perder a diestra y siniestra todo mi tiempo libre (y el no tan libre...). Temáticas, divertidas, informativas... es como tener el mundo entero en la yema de mis dedos!
No te revienta de piedra cuando estás en medio de una dicusión con amigos y estás segurísima que TÚ estás en lo cierto pero no tienes pruebas? Pues esos días ya finiquitaron con el WIKIPANION (gratis), y para aquellos que (como yo) viven en países de habla no hispana y se pasan el dia acuñando frases como; “mmm... como es que se dice... en (inglés/francés/italiano/español)” tu solución es el TRADUCTOR (gratis). Siempre has querido una secretaria personal pero no te llega para pagar un salario mínimo? EVERNOTE (gratis) te permite crear notas, fotos, grabar memos a los que puedes acceder en todo momento a través de tu iphone, computador, o de la web.

En el corner de las fashionistas ; STYLE.COM (gratis) para estar al día de todas las pasarelas, VOGUE STYLIST (gratis), STYLECASTER (gratis) una app que te da tips para looks según tu localizacion y condiciones atmosféricas, CHICFEED (gratis) el mejor recopilatorio de blogs busca-tendencias, F NETWORK (gratis), y la joya de la corona STYLEBOOK (2.99€) importa tu guardaropa, crea tus estilismos, planea tus pintas y guarda todos tus looks favoritos con esta app completamente personalizable.
Nunca es demasiado pronto para empezar a escribir la carta al niño Dios, y si eres de las que se ha portado muuuy bien este año y tienes en mente un millón de regalos, SHOPAHOLIC WISH (gratis) es tu app, la puedes usar para capturar, priorizar y organizar tu lista de shopping!

Mantente informada con TED (free) Ideas que merece la pena propagar, BBC NEWS (gratis) y GOSSIP JUNKIE (1.59) al fin y al cabo, todas queremos ser la primera en enterarnos cuando Rob Pattinson deje por fin a la paliducha sin sal.
Planeando un puente que parece más bien un acueducto? COOL CITIES es una cuidadosa selección de los hoteles, restaurantes, sitios, bares & clubs, tiendas etc etc más trendys de cada ciudad... algunas de sus guías son gratuitas y otras no. Y por último para los más mega geeks MONSTER BUILDER (gratis) una app muy divertida para pasar el tiempo ;)
